Silvermine Ranch is located in historic "Old Concho" Arizona.
"Old Concho in its prime was a thriving village
with mercantile stores, a post office, saloons
and two banks. Its economy was sustained by
one of the largest wool producing areas
in the west."
Pauline Baca author of Old Concho History and Folklore
Silvermine Ranch is located on the high plateau of Northeastern Arizona at an elevation of 6000 feet. We are nestled in historic Old Concho valley facing the same highway that Pony Express riders once raced by on in their mission to carry the mail.
Our ranch is one of few that is blessed with 1880 water rights and so is irrigated from Concho Lake. We also have a very productive well. Large Cottonwoods, Willow, Ponderosa Pine, Apple, Cherry, Pear, Peach and other trees are fed by these waters as well as our pastures and gardens.
Here we have chosen to retire and live a "Golden life" with our beloved English Cream Golden Retrievers.
